Doctor Dre started his medical career in the year 1986 after graduating from Harvard Medical School. He began as an Internist working within the city of Los Angeles and did so for 10 years between 1986 and 1996. In 1996, he began is pursuit of higher knowledge and studied his now specialty in Ears, Nose, and Throat (ENT), which he still practices to this day. Doctor Dre is world renown for his knowledge in the field and has received multiple awards for his research work. He has also taken several positions over time as an adjunct professor at his alma mater where he serves as an inspiration and mentor to the next generation of medical practitioners. When he is not at his Los Angeles clinic, Dre enjoys spending time with his friends and family smoking fat Js in Compton. His best friend, Snoop Dogg, recalls a time when Dre was still trying to get on his feet. "He had come to me, $10 to his name, asking if I could buy him a cheese burger. But I could see that he really didn't want to be doing this. That's always how Dre has been. He knows when he needs help but he doesn't like asking for it." recalls Snoop. "It's funny to see how far he has come now. Dre will gladly do whatever it takes to make sure other people are taken care of but he hates asking for help himself" he laughs. Doctor Dre has been a instrumental asset in the healthcare world, especially here in Southern California. He has run countless food drives and free clinics assisting those who live in the city that he calls home. "This is my city, these are my people" he says. "This city made me who I am today and the least I can do is try giving back a fraction of what this city has given to me." Doctor Dre will be running a speaking engagement at the Crypto.com arena this Saturday at 7pm. Tickets are available at StillDre.com.
